Thompson Opticians was established in 1984 and has now grown to twenty-seven branches making them the largest independent opticians in the North East. Throughout that time, it has been our mission to provide a high quality ophthalmic service to the public. At Thompson Opticians we also offer a Domiciliary Service. We have been providing a friendly, informed & efficient service for over twenty-four years, to sheltered accommodation, nursing & residential homes. We use the latest portable equipment to carry out a full standard eye examination, including screening for glaucoma & diabetes. We comply with all FHSA guidelines & standards. We aim to satisfy the needs of all patients' and offer a full after care service. A training programme is available to help care staff understand their residents needs.
